This independent busy mixed practice in Bradford are looking to recruit a Practice Manager to start as soon as possible.

The role is to work 3 and a half days per week:

Monday 8.15am-5.15pm
Wednesday 8.15am-5.15pm
Thursday 8.15am-5.15pm
Friday 8.15am-1.15pm

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 pro rata, dependent on experience and training requirements.

This is an independent, brand new, 4 surgery practice fully equipped with intra-oral cameras, digital x-rays and computerised using Software of Excellence.

As the Practice Manager you will be responsible for driving the practice performance by delivering key objectives relating to revenue targets, KPIs and cost management.

Handling all recruitment and manage a team of professional self-employed Clinicians and employed support staff of Nurses, Receptionists and Cleaners.

A Practice Manager is responsible for audit and financial processes, which must be completed, to the practice and CQC standards.

• Managing the day-to-day running of a fast paced NHS and Private practice.
• Strong commercial and business awareness – Experience of analysing financial data including profit and loss accounts.
• Handling patient queries/complaints and replies in line with the practice ethos.
• Implementation and maintenance of Clinical governance (meeting UDA targets).
• Care Quality Commission (CQC), infection control procedures, health and safety.
• General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and security.
• Producing and maintaining practice policies and conducting audits.
• Human resource management including recruitment, staff inductions, staff rota management, appraisals and staff wages.
• Conducting staff appraisals on a monthly basis.
• Supporting the team to develop their knowledge and skills to enhance performance.
• Management of finances such as invoices, banking, reports and working towards budgets.
• Resource management.
• Marketing and promotion of practice via social media and onsite premises.
• Completing online learning modules.

Specific Skills Required
• Supporting the mission of the practice as well as the wider community.
• Extremely organised and able to handle a fast paced environment and react to business needs.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and handle challenging situations confidently in both internal and external environments.
• Managing style includes being professional, friendly, flexible and approachable.
• Demonstrates social and emotional intelligent.
• Self motivated, enthusiastic, reliable, honest and well presented.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft packages.
• Team player as well as working individually.
• First Aider and Fire Warden (not essential as training will be provided)

This practice is led by a team of highly qualified and experienced dental professionals where training and development is at the forefront.

The below skills are not essential but desirable.
• Previous experience of working with Dental software Exact.
• Compliance and upkeep of CQC regulations
• Working in line with new GDPR regulations.
• GDC registration is desirable but not essential.

Close commute from Bradford and Leeds city centre.

There is on street parking at the practice.

At least 2 year management experience in dentistry is required.
