IV NURSE REQUIRED PART TIME
We are looking for a motivated nurse to provide an exciting opportunity in administering nutrition via IV on part time basis.
We welcome an innovative forward thinking registered nurse with experience in this field to provide a comprehensive range of infusion therapies and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products.
The hours are adhoc working 2-3 hours at a time on a part time basis - view to increase this
Looking to pay £14.50 per hour depending on experience.
This is a 3 surgery practice fully equipped with digital x-rays and computerised using Software of Excellence.
Roles include
- Carry out clinical procedures/tasks as required.
- Undertake and record a range of physiological measurements e.g. temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, blood glucose monitoring
Other clinical tasks will be determined by the nature of your work and local policy eg:
- monitoring the effects of medication; insertion / removal of intravenous cannula, venepuncture
- Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms
- Contribute to discharge process
- Care of wounds
- Assist in preparing for clinical procedures and clearing the environment afterwards as appropriate
- An adaptive professional approach is essential as you will deal with sensitive information.
- We are looking for someone who is passionate and committed to patient-centered care, who can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multi-professional team
