Phillip Barker is a Director at MediHoldings. Beginning his career in optical recruitment he quickly looked for a career in the industry and went on to serving large and well respected optical retail firms vision express and Costco; starting as an apprentice lab technician progressing to master technician. In his time at Vision Express Phillip decreased the laboratory expenditure in midlands stores from 17% of turnover to 9% of annual turnover whilst still maintaining excellent service. Headhunted by Costco in 2005, to take on the responsibility for the management of their central laboratory providing service to 17 stores nationwide.

Joining MediHoldings in 2008 as a Director; responsible for all Marketing, re-brand and improvements to company advertising strategies.

In 2012 Phillip took on Management of the Recruitment Division, during this time we changed the focus of our clients to the independent and small group market giving the business a 66% increase in turnover.
